Roots

Series of programs Roots tells about our compatriots, who moved abroad and build their lives in other countries. Central figures of programs are Belarusians of Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland and Ukraine and they tell unique stories about how to achieve success in strange lands, how not to loose self-belief, retain love to the historical homeland.

"Roots" - is firstly a film-observation about how it helps our compatriots abroad that they are Belarusians. At the same time it is a film-thinking about Belarus, its past, present and future. Nobody will tell about Belarus in the way the Belarusians, who live abroad, can tell, because it is said for a reason that the big is seen from a distance.

Series of Roots has been going on the air since 2007.

2008 - Diploma of the Xth international festival of TV programs for national minorities "My Dear Land" (Uzhgorod, Ukraine).
2008 - First Degree Diploma of the national contest among journalists and media for best coverage of issues of international relations and an intercultural dialogue.
2009 - Third Degree Diploma of the national contest among republican and regional media "Belarus Orthodoxy: History and Modernity".
2011 - Third Degree Diploma. The VIIth National TV contest Televershina in the nomination of "Best cultural and educational program".
2011 - Special Diploma and title of the laureate of the First International Film Festival Kinogolos (Odessa, Ukraine).

Belarusians in Moldova

The program is a good-natured story about the life of the Belarusian Diaspora in Moldova. Its representatives are Galina Petrovna Tarasevich and Ludmila Viktorovna Issak. Two female stories, two happy destinies filled with love. During 50 years of living in Moldova they got close to this country, but didn't forget Belarus.
